# Add Specific Elements for Mobile

When editing the desktop version, a mobile version is automatically generated. You can add specific elements to this mobile version, because you may not always get the outcome you hoped for or if you wish to display your information in a different way on mobile.

Start by going to the mobile version by clicking the **mobile icon** on the **left side** of the **editor**. This will then display the mobile version of the template.

From here, click to **add** and **drag in** a **content block** to edit it as you please. If you then go back to the desktop view, you will notice that the element you added does not show in the desktop version. This allows you to separate the mobile version of your publication from the desktop version.
