# Choose languages to publish

From the Maglr dashboard, go to the **Settings** tab. This area allows the user the change many different settings for the Maglr dashboard, editors and publications.

Once in the settings tab, click the **'General settings'** icon under **General**. This will direct you to a new page with a list of different languages with tick boxes next to them.

## Language settings

Via the list of languages, you need to **tick the boxes** you wish to have available for when you publish or create a project. For example, if you want to create publications that need to be available in both English and French, you need to enable and tick the 'English' and 'French' boxes.

## Project settings

Next time you create a new project or want to change the default language of a publication, you can choose a language through the project settings. Every time you create a new project, the settings of the publication will be set to the languages that were selected by you.

|| Note: to disable any languages, first deselect the languages from the projects and publications through the Project settings before you are able to remove them from the general Language settings.

# Navigation environment text in specific language

When a project is published, it will automatically show the navigation environment in the language selected for this project. These specific texts in different translations can be edited through the **texts tab** in the **navigation environment settings**.
