Element effects

Effects can be used to make your element stand out a little better or to make it interact with the viewer's behaviour. These effects can be added and configured in the effects menu in the object tab of the configuration panel on the right side of the editor. You can add multiple effects to a single element.

Select the type of effects you would like to add and configure them through the wrench icon. This will open a small window in which you can configure the effect further.

An explanation of the effect types is described below:

Shadow: adds a drop shadow behind the chosen object. You can then edit the shadow intensity, positioning, color and blur settings.
Text Shadow: this is similar to shadows, but will only affect the text shadows instead of objects.
Black and White: this will change the colours of the objects to Black and White(Grayscale).
Blur: this will add a blur to the object, making it appear less sharp.
Cursor/Gyroscope: this effect allows the element to react to the movement of your cursor. Set the sensitivity for the horizontal or horizontal axis. The higher the number, the greater the movement. A negative value causes the element to move in the opposite direction.

Note: for mobile devices, where there is no mouse available, the effect reacts to the Gyro sensor inside a tablet or smartphone device. So when moving your tablet you can see the elements with their different set-up speeds moving.
