# Hide content from Search Engines

Since your publications are published online and publicly available, they are picked up by search engines. This means that your viewers can also search for your publications through search engines like Google or Bing.

You can turn this off in the domain's `Statistics & integration` settings:

1. Go to `Settings` → `Domain names`.
2. Click the domain you want to hide from search engines.
3. Scroll to `Statistics & integration`.
4. Turn off `Index for search engines`.
5. Save the domain.

When `Index for search engines` is on, search engines pick up publications published to that domain. Turn it off to stop that. See [Statistics & integration settings for your domain](https://help.maglr.com/en/article/statistics-integration-settings-for-your-domain-1np6jfy/) for the full section.
