Hiding elements in a template

Hiding an element in a template can be useful for when you want to experiment with seeing the design without a specific element. You could also hide one element and reveal another to see the difference between the two.

To hide an element, select the element you want to hide. From here go to the right side of the editor and click on the Configure tab. The configure tab holds many different settings for all the elements. At the bottom of this tab, you will see the section titled Visible, click this section open and then tick on the Hide Element option. This will then make your element disappear from view.

There are 2 methods to reveal a hidden element:

In the bottom left of the editor, you will see an eye icon. Mousing over this icon will then tell you how many elements are currently hidden, while clicking it will make the hidden elements appear at a lower opacity. You can then click the hidden element and repeat the steps above, but this time turn off the option called Hide Element.

In the top right of the editor, you will see an Options drop-down menu, mouse over this to reveal the different options. You will see an option called Hide or Display Element, this will then give the same effect as the first method, click the element and then repeat the step above to do with the Hide Element option.
