# Share directly from dashboard

Open your project and select the option **Share project** in the left panel of the dashboard. In this screen you have multiple ways to share a project. Keep in mind to [activate the project first](/en/article/publish-your-project-live-cxy0n/), otherwise it's not possible to publicly share your content.

![Image: post the publication to your socials from the project sharing settings](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/667b23093e4e700/d5ea8004-36c1-486c-a93c-6f046e_cuyjna.png)

Then, click the **Social Media** link and you will then see a post preview panel along with some options. The post preview allows you to see how the link preview of the social media post would look like. Click the drop-down menu of **Choose a Page** and select a page you would like to show as the thumbnail and change the descriptive text.

The next drop-down menu titled **Choose a social network** has a list of social media we currently support for sharing, click the drop-down and select your desired social media platform to share to. Once you are finished, you can click the **Share this Link** button. You will be redirected on a new window/tab to the chosen social media platform along with the prepared post, ready to be posted.

## Adjust the SEO settings

You probably want as many people as possible to see your beautiful publication. A simple link can be added to a newsletter but you also want to be sure people can find your magazine on Google.

The meta tags that show a title and short description of your project can be created on three levels. A total setting in the interface for the platform-wide projects. You can create other meta description on project level in the project settings or even create special title and text on page level in the page settings.
