Working with layers & groups
All elements added to your canvas can be found in the layers tab in the configuration panel on the right side of the editor. This tab gives you an overview of all the elements and groups that are on your page, and the order in which they are displayed. You can drag elements or groups up and down to change the order and place elements behind others. Every new element added to the canvas will be placed at the top of the list, placing the element on top of all other elements already on the canvas.
You can also double-click layers to change their names. Do this to give meaning to these layers and provide yourself with an overview of all content on the canvas. Layer names are also used for analytics purposes. This means that, when a layer is called 'PDF download button', you will find that very same tag when analysing the statistics of your publications.
At the top of the panel you will see the following options: group, ungroup, duplicate and delete.
The lock icon next to the layer name locks the element or croup, the eye icon changes its visibility and the circle icon tags the layer with a color to bring structure to the layers tab.
