A question we get a lot is if it's possible to copy and paste elements or groups to another scene or page or even publication. A simple copy and paste using a shortcut isn't possible. You can however import elements from other pages.
In the editor mouse over the Options menu located in the top right of the editor, to the left of the Undo and Redo icons. A list of options will appear below. You will want to select the Import Objects option, from here a popup will appear.
From the popup window, you will see several drop-down menus. Starting from the top, the first drop-down menu you will want to select the publication that you would like to import an object from. The second drop down menu will want you to select the specific page from the publication above you would want to import an object from. The third drop down you will select the scene that the page has(If it has more than one) for you to import an object from. When you have done this a list of objects from that scene/page/publication will appear below the three drop-down menus. You will then want to mark the objects you want to import by clicking the hollow circles to the right of the objects and then clicking the blue import button in the bottom right of this popup.
The object you had selected will then be positioned in the center of your publication, ready for you to edit however you please for the current publication. This is useful when you have created a complicated popup for example and you want to reuse this popup in another publication but you want to edit the information to then fit the current subject.
