iOS & Android app

To download your projects or presentations offline to your Android or iOs device we have the 'Maglr Presenter app' (Additional license required, a desktop app is also available). With these apps, it's possible to download all available content to your device or hard disk and present it when you don't have an internet connection available.

You can download the Maglr desktop app versions app here:

Download the iOS app from the App Store
Download the Android App from the Google Play Store
Or search for '*Maglr Presenter**' in both stores directly

For tablets and mobile

For both iOS and Android the app can be installed on tablets and mobile devices. For mobile devices the mobile view for a project/presentation is used. In case you are using the Pro editor keep in mind to create a mobile version for each page & scene when using the Presenter App on mobile devices.

Users can also find direct links for the different available apps in the dashboard with the option to also show a link to the online presentation environment.

User login

To use the Maglr app you need a valid Maglr user login, the same login you use for the dashboard. The type of user depends on how your organisation is sharing the presentations. When installed, the app will first ask the user to login. Click here to read more about users & login options.

Download presentations

The overview page will show you all the different available presentations. Each presentation can be downloaded separately by clicking on the cover. When a presentation is downloaded (it can take a few seconds depending on the amount of data) you are able to open the presentation. From here, you can swipe through the pages or use the quick navigation bar (double tap) to directly navigate to a page. (Learn how to disable this feature). If you would like to delete a presentation, click the trash bin icon below the cover.

Updates in presentations

When you or Marketing as a user is updating (and publishing) a publication, the app will show you which presentations are changes. This is shown as soon as you:

Navigate to the overview page
Refreshes the overview page
Restart the app

An update icon is shown on top of the 'downloaded' presentations that have changed. By clicking the button the app is downloading the changes. In case you don't have time for any updates, you can just skip this step and move on with the old content (that is already downloaded on your app).

Offline video

Videos that are used in a presentation are, by default, only available to view with an internet connection. We can enable the option for you that all videos (including Youtube & Vimeo) are downloaded directly to the Presenter App. Contact support@maglr.com for this functionality.

Styling the app

The Presenter app has a default interface. You can change the logo, colours and texts shown in the navigation interface. In the case you have made changes to the interface, the app will notify you when the new update is available. After refreshing/restarting the app, all of the new updates will be loaded and directly shown. Click here for more information about styling the app.

Note: the Maglr presenter apps are available in the during period. Or you can upgrade your license with the additional 'Presenter' module to get access. Maglr Presenter is available through the subscription settings in the dashboard. Contact support@maglr.com for more information.
