Hiding elements in a publication can be helpful for when you have a lot on a page and want to focus on one specific object, or you maybe want to compared different elements instead of having to delete one previous element and then adding the other you want to see.
You can hide an element simply by clicking the element on your publication and then clicking the eye icon on the bar that appears when selecting an element. Clicking this will then make the element disappear immediately and you may be wondering how do you get it to appear again. Starting in the Template editor. Mouse over the Options drop-down located in the top right of the editor. A drop-down will appear with various options to choose from. Select Hide or display element, Note: you may have to click this option twice in order to show hidden elements. Once you have done this you will then see the elements you have hidden, but they appear to be lower opacity, this indicates that these elements were hidden by the user. You can then make a specific element become visible again by clicking the hidden element, then clicking the eye icon with a line through it. This will then make that selected object become visible again.
