Monthly or annual plan

A Maglr subscription is billed either monthly or annually. You choose the billing period when you pick your subscription in the Maglr dashboard, and the payment options and cancellation rules differ per period.

Monthly and annual payment options

How you pay for a Maglr subscription depends on its billing period:

• Monthly subscription: the amount is collected automatically every month through payment partner Adyen, by credit card or iDEAL. There is no invoice option for a monthly subscription.
• Annual subscription: you choose one of two payment methods when you order:
• • Pay the amount annually by credit card through payment partner Adyen. The amount is collected automatically every year.
  • Receive a separate invoice every year and pay it within 30 days.

Choosing monthly or annual billing

To choose monthly or annual billing for your Maglr subscription:

1. In the Maglr dashboard, go to Settings → Subscription.
2. Click Edit subscription. If your subscription has ended, click Choose a subscription instead.
3. Turn on I want to pay annually for an annual subscription, or leave it off for a monthly subscription.
4. Choose a subscription (Maglr Basic or Maglr Advanced), and add any modules, extra users or environments you need.
5. Click Continue to payment.
6. On the Check your information page, check your billing details and click Go to order page.
7. For an annual subscription, under Payment method for annual costs, choose to pay annually by credit card through Adyen, or to receive a separate invoice every year.
8. Tick the checkboxes to agree to the new costs and the terms and conditions, and click Continue to payment.
9. If you pay by credit card, enter your payment details in the payment form of Adyen and complete the payment. If you chose to receive an invoice, your order is complete.

You can also open the subscription page from the user menu, through Account details.

Cancelling your subscription

To cancel a monthly subscription, or an annual subscription paid by credit card:

1. In the Maglr dashboard, go to Settings → Subscription.
2. Click Stop payments or delete account.
3. Select Stop payment.
4. Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the action and its consequences, and click Continue.
5. Confirm with Stop payment.

After you stop payment, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. At the end of that period, it is converted into a limited subscription.

Rules for annual subscriptions:

• Annual subscriptions require one month's notice for cancellation.
• The current annual period is not refunded when you cancel. The subscription runs until the end of the year you have paid for.
• If you pay your annual subscription by invoice, you can't cancel or change it in the dashboard. Email info@maglr.com instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay for my Maglr subscription by invoice?

Yes, for an annual subscription only. When you order an annual subscription, choose the option to receive a separate invoice every year under Payment method for annual costs. You pay each invoice within 30 days. A monthly subscription is always paid automatically through payment partner Adyen.

What happens when I cancel my Maglr subscription?

When you stop payment, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, it is converted into a limited subscription. Your account is not deleted; deleting your account is a separate option, Permanently delete account, which removes the account and all its publications immediately and cannot be undone.

Can I switch from a monthly to an annual subscription?

Yes. Go to Settings → Subscription, click Edit subscription, turn on I want to pay annually and complete the order. Changing your subscription starts a new license period, and the costs you have already paid for the current period are recalculated with the new subscription. If you pay your annual subscription by invoice, email info@maglr.com to change it.

Do I get a refund if I cancel an annual subscription early?

No. The current annual period is not refunded when you cancel. Your subscription stays active until the end of the year you have paid for, and is then converted into a limited subscription.
