Autoplay pages in kiosk mode

Autoplay moves a published project to the next page automatically, at an interval you set. You turn it on by adding autoplay=<seconds> to the project link or embed code. After the last page, the project goes back to the first page and repeats without stopping. This suits banner formats, or presentations on screens at events and fairs.


Setting the autoplay interval


The number after autoplay= is the number of seconds each page stays on screen before the project moves to the next page.


  • The minimum is 5 seconds. A value lower than 5 turns autoplay off, without an error message.
  • Use whole seconds. Decimals are rounded down, so autoplay=7.5 shows each page for 7 seconds.
  • After the last page, autoplay returns to the first page and keeps repeating.
  • Autoplay keeps running when a visitor clicks or swipes to another page. To stop it, open the project link without the autoplay parameter.



To show a project as a looping autoplay on a kiosk or display screen, add the autoplay parameter to the project link. The value is the number of seconds per page, with a minimum of 5.


  1. In the dashboard, open the project menu and click Share, or click Share project inside the project.
  2. On the Link to project tab, copy the project link.
  3. Add ?autoplay=10 to the end of the link. Replace 10 with the number of seconds each page stays on screen (minimum 5). If the link already contains a ?, add &autoplay=10 instead.
  4. Open the new link in the browser on the kiosk or display screen.


For example, a link with a 10-second interval looks like this:

Autoplaying an embedded project


To make a project embedded on a website play its pages automatically, turn on the autoplay option when you create the embed code. The option adds autoplay=5 to the embed code, which shows each page for 5 seconds.


  1. In the dashboard, open the project menu and click Share, or click Share project inside the project.
  2. Open the Embed code tab.
  3. Select The complete project with all pages.
  4. Choose how to embed the project: Fixed format (manual) or Preview with fullscreen layover. Optionally, choose a navigation type under Change navigation type.
  5. If no embed code is shown yet, click Generate embed code.
  6. Under Optional settings, select Autoplay pages (5 sec default).
  7. Copy the embed code and paste it into your website.


To use a different interval, change autoplay=5 in the copied embed code to another number of seconds. The minimum is 5; a lower value turns autoplay off.


The Embed code tab is not available for print projects, and you can't use it while the project is inactive or secured.


Frequently asked questions


Why doesn't autoplay start?


Autoplay only starts when the value after autoplay= is 5 or higher. A lower value, or a value that isn't a number, turns autoplay off without an error message. Also check how the parameter is added: if the link already contains a ?, add the parameter with &autoplay=10 instead of ?autoplay=10.


Does autoplay stop when a visitor clicks to another page?


No. Autoplay keeps moving to the next page at the set interval, also after a visitor clicks or swipes to another page. To show the project without autoplay, open the project link without the autoplay parameter.
