Embedding your project

Maglr offers extensive possibilities to embed a project within an external website. The method of embedding a project within a website depends entirely on the type of publication. You can embed the entire publication (where you need navigation controls), or choose a single formatted page that fits seamlessly into the layout of your website.

Multi-page embed (publication)

Embed the entire publication with all of its pages. This includes the publication's surrounding navigation environment, which is needed to navigate through the multiple pages of the publication.

Overlay embed

The overlay embed places a visual banner on the page that opens the embed fullscreen on top of the webpage after a click. This option offers visitors to view a page or publication fullscreen without having to leave the original visited website. After closing the overlay, the visitor returns to the place on the webpage where the banner was clicked. The banner can be visually adjusted through the settings on the platform. This version is using a bit of javascript & iframes.

Single page embed (Automatic inject with webcomponents)

You can also extract a single page, without a navigation interface, and embed this in various sizes within you website. When SEO is an important factor, or if the page you have designed contains extensive scroll animations, we offer an embed option without iFrames. This option injects your page directly into the structure of the main website using webcomponents, which results in better performance for scroll animations. And because the embed becomes part of the main website, Google will index the Maglr page as part of the website it is placed within.

Single page embed (With iframes - deprecated)

With the release of the above single page embed based on webcomponents we depricated the version with iFrames. It's still available but we advise to use the modern version with webcomponents. Both version do require to run javascript on the server. This version is adding a dynamic iframe. The above version is adding a webcomponent.
