Access mobile preview with QR codes
A QR code opens your project on your phone: scan it with your phone's camera and the project opens in the phone's browser, so you see it the way visitors on a phone do. The QR code links to the same URL you would copy, so there is one code for the preview and one for the live version. You can show a QR code from the project page, from the Share project panel, and from the M menu in the editor.
Showing a QR code from the project page
To open a project on your phone from the project page in the dashboard:
- Open the project in the dashboard.
- Click
Openat the top right. If the project isn't live, this button readsPreview. - Choose
Previewfor the preview version, orLive URLfor the live version. - Hover over the
QR Codeicon, or click it. A pop-up titled "Scan QR with phone" shows the code. - Point your phone's camera at the code and tap the link that appears.

Preview can only be chosen once a preview has been published, and Live URL only once the project is live. If nothing has been published yet, the menu shows "Publish a preview" instead, with a Publish preview button.
Showing a QR code from the Share project panel
The Share project panel has a QR icon inside each URL field of its Link to project tab. To use it:
- On the project page, click
Share projectin the left sidebar. In the projects overview, you can also open a project's menu and clickShare. - In the
Link to projecttab, click the QR icon at the right of the URL field: - Live version: the field under "Copy the link to the project or a page". First choose what the link goes to in the dropdown above it: the whole project, or one of the pages listed under "Specific page". This field appears only when the project is live.
- Preview: the
Preview linkfield underTemporary preview link. This field is available when the project isn't live yet and a preview has been published, or when a live project has changes that aren't published yet.
- Point your phone's camera at the code and tap the link that appears.

For more about the preview link, see Share a temporary preview link.
Showing a QR code in the editor
To open the project on your phone while you are editing it:
- Click the
Mmenu at the top left of the editor. - In the Preview or Live block, hover over the QR icon next to the URL.
- Point your phone's camera at the code and tap the link that appears.
A block shows "Not published" instead of a URL when that version isn't available (for the Live block: when the project isn't live), and then has no QR code.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't I see a QR code for my project?
A QR code only appears once the version it links to has been published. The preview QR code needs a published preview, and the live QR code needs a project that is live. If nothing has been published yet, publish a preview first: on the project page, click Preview at the top right and then Publish preview.
Can I make a QR code for a single page?
Yes. In the Share project panel's Link to project tab, choose the page in the dropdown above the URL field (pages are listed under "Specific page"), then click the QR icon in the field. For a live project without security, the Share single page tab also has a QR icon in its "Link to separate page" field, for the page's own standalone URL. Single-page projects don't have this tab.
Does the QR code open the preview or the live project?
It opens the version you chose. The preview and the live version each have their own QR code: Preview and Live URL in the project page menu, the Preview link field and the live URL field in the Share project panel, and the Preview and Live blocks in the editor's M menu.
