iOS & Android app
The Maglr Presenter app for iOS and Android downloads your projects to an iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet, so you can present them without an internet connection. For computers, there is also a desktop app for Windows and Mac.

- The Presenter module: the Presenter apps are part of the Presenter module. If your subscription doesn't include it, you can add it under
Settings→Subscription→Edit subscription, or contact support@maglr.com. - A Maglr login: you log in to the app with the same login you use for the Maglr dashboard.

The Present tab is only visible when your account has the Presenter module.

Choosing which projects appear in the app
The Maglr Presenter app shows the categories and projects of the navigation environment that is set for the Presenter apps. A project only appears in the app when it is in a category of that navigation environment and has been published.

Settings→Navigation environment. - Next to the navigation environment you want to use, click
Edit settings. - On the
Generaltab, under Special settings, switch onUse this environment for Presenter apps. - Click
Save navigation.
If a project is not in a category yet, create a category, place the project in it and publish the project again.
Using the app on tablets and phones
The Maglr Presenter app works on both tablets and phones, on iOS and on Android. On a phone, the app shows the mobile layout of your project. If you use the app on phones, check that every page of your project has a mobile layout in the editor.
Logging in and user access
The Maglr Presenter app asks you to log in the first time you open it. Use your Maglr login, the same one you use for the dashboard. To give someone access to the Presenter apps only, give them the Presenter role. Users with this role only have access to the Maglr Presenter apps, to download projects. Read more about users and login options.
Downloading and opening presentations
The overview page of the Maglr Presenter app shows all projects available to you. You download each presentation separately.
- On the overview page, tap the cover of a presentation to download it. Depending on the amount of data, this can take a few seconds.
- When the download is finished, tap the presentation to open it.
- Swipe to move between pages, or double tap to show the navigation bar and jump straight to a page.
You can disable the navigation bar if you don't want it to appear. To delete a downloaded presentation, tap the trash bin icon below its cover.
Updating downloaded presentations
When a project is updated and published again, the Maglr Presenter app marks the downloaded presentations that have changed. The app checks for changes when you:
- Go to the overview page
- Refresh the overview page
- Restart the app
A presentation that has changed shows an update icon on its cover. Tap the icon to download the changes. You can also skip the update and keep presenting the version that is already downloaded.
Playing videos offline
By default, videos in a presentation in the Maglr Presenter app need an internet connection. Maglr can switch on offline video for your account, which downloads all videos, including YouTube and Vimeo videos, into the app. To request this, contact support@maglr.com.
Styling the app
The Maglr Presenter app has a default interface. You can change the logo, colours and texts shown in the app's navigation interface. When you change the interface, the app notifies you that an update is available, and shows the new interface after you refresh or restart the app. Read more about styling the Presenter apps.
