Let viewers subscribe to your publications
You can offer your readers the option to subscribe in order to receive notifications about future updates of your publications. They can subscribe via the subscribe tab in the side menu when they are viewing your publication, but you can also activate a call-to-action for your viewers to perform this action. This is an ideal way to build an audience and update them about your new publications.
In order to activate this feature, edit your navigation environment settings via the pencil icon and go to the user subscribe tab. Turn on any of the options you see here in order to enable the subscribe feature.
Keep in mind you can only select one domain name per environment where you can collect subscribers. A domain name also needs to have an SSL certification activated. If you require more domains or environments, please contact support@maglr.com.
Note**: to let your readers subscribe to your publication and receive upcoming issues, you need to publish them first. Please note that this feature is intended for periodical publications and not standalone projects.
When subscribing, viewers will be asked for their name and email. This information will be directly sent to the configured mail address in the general tab. If no e-mail is entered, the information will be sent to the account to which the Maglr license is bound. In case you would like to save this information directly in tools like Mailchimp or Excel, you can use our Zapier integration. With Zapier you are able to redirect this user data to your favourite tool of choice.
Note: no data is stored on our platform
Viewers also have the ability to activate web notifications. These types of notifications allow you to send small messages to the audience that actively subscribed to your publication URL. Click here to read more on how to send a notification.
Note: this feature requires a license to our Presenter module
When a user has subscribed, we will send an Analytics event / GTM event to track new subscriptions in the Analytics data. This data will automatically appear in our dashboard statistics or in the events section of your Google account reports.
Search for the following event:
