Change page and project URL
When you create and publish a publication, our Maglr platform automatically creates paths in the URL for every page of that publication. Before the latest update, these URLs would contain a numeric string. But with the new update, we will now generate a more SEO-friendly URL that is based on the page title of the publication.
Example: domain.com/projectname/pagename
In Q2 of 2020, we have released a new version of the navigation environment with a better readable URL structure. The new URL structure is not only to help search engines better understand publications, but also improve readability when shared via e-mail or social media and thus enhancing the user experience. From the dashboard, you are able to change the publication URL or per page.
Note: if you are using Google Analytics to analyze traffic, you must take these changes into account. Previously, it was possible to filter a single publication on the / issue_id / in the URL. Now you have to use the name of a publication. The issueID is not visible in the URL anymore, but you can always find it via the setting of a project through the dashboard.
Change the URL of the project via the Basic Information of the Project Settings in the Project Page Overview.
