Getting started with the Presenter App
The Presenter App is an additional module on top of our three available licenses. On our platform, designers and marketers have the option to create all sorts of publications. When there is a need to present one of those projects (offline), we offer the tools to share presentations that are always up-to-date in a simple way. When you open the Presenter App an overview of active presentations will be shown. These projects are divided into multiple categories and are directed from the Maglr dashboard. These projects are created by one or multiple users. When logging into one of our apps, a connection is made to the platform requesting all available categories and projects for that specific user. In order to use the Maglr Presenter app, you need to be a valid Maglr user. The type of user depends on how your organisation is using the presentations. Is there one account for the whole organisation? Or are there separate personal user accounts that are creating custom personal presentations? When creating a new user for the Presenter App, you can choose to create a simple profile (only granting access for downloading the apps and showing the default presentations served by Marketing) or let users also create their own presentations within the dashboard. When an admin is creating a category structure, it will determine which users have access to specific categories or projects shared by Marketing. In case users have the option to create personal presentations, they have the option to share these projects with other colleagues without the help of an admin. iOS & Android app
To download your projects or presentations offline to your Android or iOs device we have the 'Maglr Presenter app' (Additional license required, a desktop app is also available). With these apps, it's possible to download all available content to your device or hard disk and present it when you don't have an internet connection available. Next to the 'Presentations Apps' we also offer an online presentation environment. This is the same overview as presented in the app but available within the browser. Depending on the type of content, this overview can be shared publicly or with a security layer. It's also possible for a user to login with their personal account to view their personal presentations. Inside the dashboard settings you have the option to style all your different publication types from a single configuration. We call this configuration a 'navigation environment'. By default each configuration contains one navigation environment. Containing the specific domain names with filters, navigation types, colours and text settings. What is an environment? By default the iPad & Android app are using a standard menu. All content is loaded to the harddisk and doesn't require any active internet connection, expect for Youtube & Vimeo videos and external URL's or forms. Local uploaded MP4 files are downloaded by default and do play offline all app versions. Activate offline video Support can activate a feature where we automatically download Youtube & Vimeo videos during the publishing proces. Push notifications & statistics
Basic app statistics
To get a better insight on how the Apps are being used we offer a basic statistics overview. This overview is not as extensive in comparison with the online statistics of publications but will give you a good idea how they're used across your organisation. Keep your team up-to-date by sending push notifications from the dashboard. This function is available for the iOs and Android apps where users need to consent for these messages when they first install the app. When users consent with this option after installation, the number of connected apps are shown in the notification module. This is located in the dashboard Send -Notification and is by default made available for admins, additional rights are required for regular users. CFew readers
Share presentations
Create a PDF export as handout
Publications made with Maglr can be converted into a simplified version as a PDF format. A PDF is a commonly used document type file format, widely used for its advanced options and compatibility. But because most Maglr publications are created with interactive elements, layering and visual material, there are limitations to this functionality.Few readersCombine apps with Personalise module
When you have a Sales team that is using the Presenter Apps to show a presentation to clients, there could be a need to send some information afterwards. With the additional Personalise module it is possible to send presentations and be personalised by adding or altering pages to these projects.
